Jaime has been a Naturalist Tour Guide in the islands and approved by the Galapagos National park for over 28 years, his experience in leading groups and families of different nationalities and with different interests is vast and his personality and human values makes him the perfect fit for all types of explorers from beginner nature lovers to expert professionals and even scientists in the subject of nature and evolution who travel often in our private Galapagos charters.

Living in this paradise awaken his passion for photography and over the years he became a professional photographer who has achieved many projects like the calendar of the Galapagos National Park in 2010 who was awarded by local authorities and gave him recognition which made him start a small business of post cards and some other important publications.

María Fernanda Dávila Martínez

Maria Fernanda was born in Quito and has a High Diploma of a University formation in the tourism area. She has gone through different courses that have provided her with knowledge and practical experience as a National Tourist Guide in Ecuador, and Natural Guide specialized in Galapagos. She has more than 20 years of experience leading groups to explore and visit the Archipelago.

She sees herself as a wildlife and nature lover. She is a person keen on promoting the conservation of the native species both in land and in the ocean. She enjoys finding different species during her snorkel outings, such as sea lions, marine turtles, tropical fish and other. It is an unforgettable experience to have the opportunity to swim with these unique animals in the crystal-like and tropical waters of the Archipelago of Galapagos.

Maria Fernanda has been the leader of different exploring groups who went to the islands for different reasons. From novices to scientists, she has had the ability to handle all their needs and queries. Although she mostly enjoyed the questions and curiosity from people involved in conservation, nature and evolution.

It is very important to have a very wide knowledge in the different areas of the natural life in order to be a Galapagos Naturalist guide. Some of those areas are botanic, geology, ornithology, marine currents, biology, etc. Which she excels at.

Maria Fernanda has had the chance to travel around the world, getting know magical places in Central and North America and the unique Antarctica; this last one, however, holds an especial place in her heart, given that she had a cathartic moment with nature and the culture of the place the minute she set foot in the unique continent and was surrounded by King Penguins, which constitutes a miraculous experience.
